esposizione.jpg (77474 bytes) Vintage Italian Worlds Fair Poster: Inaugurazione del Sempione Esposizione Internazionale Milano 1906 Aprile - Novembre, by Metlicovitz.  A dramatic poster announcing the Esposizione Internationale in Milan, Italy, 1906, by Leopoldo Metlicovitz. From the Ricordi Portfolio, published by G. Ricordi & C., Milano, 1914, 10-1/8" x 10-1/4" overall, 10-1/2" x 6-3/4" image size. Printed in red, grays, black, with aqua blue lettering. There is a light 2" crease in the upper margin.  This is an original lithographic print from the portfolio, printed in 1914.

Towne, well illustrated in black and white. Complete issue also includes a short story by A. Conan Doyle and a lengthy and prolifically illustrated advertising section. Excellent / Fine Condition.

Exposition map 1873 Engraved Bird's Eye View Exposition Universelle Plan Ses Weltausstellungs / Zur Errinerung An Wien Und Die Weltausstellung In Yarhe 1873 (Central Office of the Universal Exhibition For Travelling and Lodgings), 24" x 32 1/4" detailed street plan, scores of commercial and public buildings and landscaped grounds, steamship traffic on river, etc., folded thrice as issued, there is a 1/2" separation and a 1/4" where two folds meet, a 1" and a 2" vertical separation at two upper edge folds, some minor fretting along upper edge, a couple wrinkles, all else is excellent.

International Exposition 1876 Stereoview Card, interior of Agricultural Hall, Centennial Photographic Co., 4 1/4" x 7", corner a bit bumped, upper edge has 1/8" x 3" narrow water stain.

Orange Show Postcard Postcard, Twentieth National Orange Show, San Beradino, Calif., Feb. 13-23, 1930. "The Most Beautiful Exposition In All The World." Advertising both sides, poster style scene of exaggerated bright oranges, moderate wear to four corners, light vertical crease seen on back is almost invisible on face, unused.

World's Fair type 1933 Century of Progress Exposition, 2 pieces of  lead type made by Cuneo Press at the fair, 1 1/2" and 1", comes with cropped 1940 letter from Cuneo Press discussing the type.

Golden Gate International Exposition fountain pen Golden Gate International Exposition 1939 fountain pen by Epenco, tower and wording engraved in black against pearlized chartreuse plastic, some corrosion to stiff lever and clip, nib tip bent.

Made by Bensiger & Co., Switzerland.  Light 1/4" crease upper left corner, minimal wear to corners, foxing evident along right 1/8" margin. Scattered darker foxing on back.
