The Antique Shop: Advertising

	Cigar Ceramic Trade Stimulator, c.1890-1910, of colorfully glazed hard porcelain in the form a cigar-smoking Black youth seated above cigar holder, match holder / striker and tip or ash tray, 6 1/2" x 5" x 5", impressed "Cuba Fina" oval in 4 places. Marks include hand-inscribed under glaze "7392" and impressed "38" and an illegible painted cipher on recessed bottom. The edge of tray is nicked up, particularly its front, also an 1/8" or so sliver off each other receptacle, underneath, a 1/2" sliver off inside and a.1/8" nick on base. Detailed boy has wear to face, otherwise fine. $225 Click on image for better view.
	Hiram Walker's Imperial Blended Whiskey Wooden Sign, 13 1/2" x 10 3/4", silk ribbon hanger, gold and white against black, painted lettering; gold, red and blue raised trademark crest, made by Kay Displays, Grand Rapids, Mich., excellent condition. $84 Click on image for better view.
	Fire Insurance Sign or Calendar Top. Circa 1880 -1890. 19-1/2" x 14". Color lithograph on card stock. An 8" upper corner crease, a 4" surface abrasion into subject's red cape, 2 half inch surface abrasions near upper left corner, a 1" x 2" surface strip on the left has been glued down, a 1" scrape on the flames has been colored in, wear along lower edge, a few other small scattered flaws. $35 Click on image for better view.
